 Synopsis

he House of Peil was conducting a meeting to make a conclusion about the Mobile suit duel between Suletta and Elan Ceres. Their hunch was correct all along. Earial was a Gundam; to which Prospera declared as a mobile drone, because Pharact itself was more or less using the same Gund-Arms technology. Back to Miorine’s Garden, Sulleta was a bit daydreaming while trying to pick up tomatoes until Miorine bonks her head using a watering can. She seemed a bit down after not seeing Elan for some days ever since the day of the duel. A message just appeared in her phone telling her as an invited guest for the next incubation party. Miorine already knew about the event and she had less interest to join it although in the end, she ended up attending the party due to Suletta. In one way or another, Suletta believed that if the party had guests from the three houses of technology, there was a probability to meet Elan Ceres on it. The scene moved to the party with both Suletta and Miorine came as the guest complete with their party dress. Along with them Nika Nanaura and the president of the earth house; Martin Upmont also came as the guest of the current reigning holder (Suletta) albeit they wore the standard academy uniform instead of a party get up.

As they walked pass the guests, Suletta noticed that many guests were talking about them. Miorine told her to regain her composure and stand straight. Not only the guest; the four C.E.O of Peil house also watched them closely. They asked the real Elan to get closer to Suletta during this party since the dummy (Elan number 5) was not ready to deploy yet. Meanwhile, Shadiq greeted Miorine and talked to her casually. Sulleta asked him if they knew each other and Miorine only said because they had meet before in similar events. Also, Miorine added that if Suletta haven’t pestering her to attend the party, she would never plan to join it. Shadiq teased Miorine by saying that she had change a lot due to Suletta “magic”. He said that Miorine never opened her heart to other person let alone helping and accompanying them. Off course hearing Shadiq’s word embarrassed her as she decided to move away from that spot.

Not long after, Lady Prospera called Suletta and she stated how beautiful she was wearing the formal red dress to the incubation party. Suletta introduced Miorine to her mother. Prospera noticed her during the time when she was summoned by the council regarding the origin of Aerial. She praised her since her strong will had helped Suletta and the Aerial to stay at the academy. As if she wanted Suletta to go away, she asked her to find her some drink. Suddenly, Prospera’s aura seemed more enigmatic than usual as she grips Miorine’s hand tightly. She mockingly said that despite Miorine’s hatred toward his father, she still used her privileges as the only daughter of the academy’s number one man. For example, the beautiful blue dress and accessories that she wore in the party, how she had a personal chairman room instead of buying a house, as well as the recognition and respect from every person in the academy. She held Miorine’s chin up and said to her directly in the eyes to throw away her egoistical pride.

Somewhere in that place, Suletta was on the floor; her dress got drenched from the drink that she accidentally spill. Nearby; Lauda Neil (Guel’s half sibling) was looking closely at Sulleta with an angry expression. He never thought that his older brother would fall in love to an accident prone country bumpkin. Afterward, Vim Jeturk called him via telephone to prepare their grand scheme which they would perform soon. Back to Suletta, Elan Ceres came and gave his handkerchief. Suletta delighted to see him again and then, she told him how worried she was for not being able to contact him. Elan apologized to her for not arriving in their previous date and he reasoned that he had a tight schedule. After that he told Suletta to prepare her speech as the reign holder and he proposed to accompany her in the stage. Back to Miorine, she was worried about Suletta’s whereabouts and asked Nika if she had seen Suletta. The lamp grew dimmer as the house of Peil C.E.O made a special presentation. They said that they wanted to introduce promising students for the audience and by then the stage went up revealing two familiar figures; Suletta and Elan Ceres.

The four Peil C.E.Os introduced Elan as their representative and also Suletta as the reigning holder. Suletta stuttered in the stage because she literally had no experience in public speaking until she remembered how Miorine asked her to stand straight. After that she finally introduced herself more confidently and explained that she had a good time at the school. It seemed normal until the C.E.O started to ask her about the Aerial. They revealed to the public that the mobile suit Pharact was using a Gund Arm technology and since it could link with Aerial, there were no more excuses. Aerial was not a drone but a Gundam. They even added that in order to reveal the truth, they were ready to sacrifice the development of Pharact and dismissing all of its division. Suletta was on a hot spot at that tall stage. She tried to reason that Aerial was not a Gundam and it was her family. As she tried repeatedly to call her mother assistance, the person aforementioned was being held and questioned by Lauda Neil in front of the incubation room. Vim Jeturk and the house of Peil worked together to hung Suletta at the stage and they planned to get her Gundam confiscated and destroyed once again. In the president’s place, Deling was about to make a decision after seeing the truth until..

“I won’t let you dispose of Aerial!” Miorine walked closer to the stage. With a tough voice she explained that Aerial was a very advanced mobile suit and it managed to defeat both of Peil’s and Jeturk’s mobile suits in the duel. Not enough, she said that scrapping the Peil house development project would cost the company 120 million and she doubled the number to 240 million. So rather than scrapping the Gundam that did not harm to the pilot, she proposed to start her own startup company. She named it Gund-Arm Inc with her as the main C.E.O. She explained that her company would work on making sure the bioethical of the mobile suit development and she guaranteed that it was a “no risk” business revenue. In short, she asked the guests in the incubation party to invest in her company. However, no one seemed interested to spend their money to the little princess who had no credibility. No matter how logical her presentation sound, she was a prideful little princess who had no business experiences on her own. Remembering Prospera’s words about leaving her ideal and egoistical pride, she took off her high heels .After telling Suletta that no matter what, she would save her, Miorine ran off to his father chamber. In front of him, she begged him to invest on her company. She said that he was right all along that she had zero credibility that’s why at that exact time, she lowered her head, and bowing to the father she hate the most. She wanted to borrow his credibility to convince the guests investing on her new startup. His father said not to run away and added that the Gundam curse was heavier than she thought. Miorine saw the number of the investment..Deling invested 0,3% of the fund needed for her startup and after that the number kept getting higher and higher until it reaches the goal number of her startup business. Miorine succeed in making her own startup; saving Suletta’s Aerial from getting scrapped in the process. As they met again with Lady Prospera, she praised Miorine once again and said that she felt save leaving her daughter in her care. Suletta asked her mother that Aerial was not a Gundam but she calmly said that it was already known by all that "Aerial IS a Gundam". Suletta could not hide her shock as her mother had been lying to her all this time

fter waiting two weeks for this episode, I am gladly said that I was very satisfied with the seven episode of the Wizard from Mercury. Even without any battle, this episode managed to create tension and develop our secondary protagonist Miorine like a lot. At the beginning of the anime, she said that her only goal was to leave that place and heading to earth. However, by the end of the episode, she decided to stay as the Gund-Arm CEO. Miorine really changed a lot as she started to view Suletta as the irreplaceable friend and the only friend that she would protect at all cost. Even if by doing so she had to beg, cry, and even bow to Deling. She also displayed a tremendous will and showed her prowess in management as she could calculate and form a startup proposal on the go. This episode even taught us that an incubation party was a party where startup business started and how credibility really can make a business started. Miorine was like a newcomer in a startup business. Sure everyone knew her as Deling’s sole daughter. Yet, no one knows about her business experience and how well she could run a company. The same could be said in the real world. Sometimes to make a business growth, the presence from a celebrity or a famous person would help a lot to polish the branding of the new company. When I put that title of Miorine being a fanservice for 24 minutes, I means that she took the entire episode focus on her and her very appearance was the fanservice. Lets not forget that she looks stunning on that Blue Dress.

Another thing worth noted was about the amazing performance of Lady Prospera.  In this episode she really shines as a character since she started to show more of her “Char” quality. The fact that she could easily make Miorine felt threatened by her presence really said how scary she could be. Being a woman with vengeance, no rule will stop her from pulling a grandiose scheme and it seemed that it was her that worthy to be called as the Witch from Mercury not Suletta.  In fact, she managed to implant a belief in Miorine’s mind to throw away her pride when necessary. She smiled confidently most of the times and never displayed any worry as if everything just works as what she planned. I am not going to lie that this episode was intense and even without any bullet flying, Witch from mercury still shine and showed us a good entertainment. Character development was solid and I expected Miorine’s popularity to skyrocket in the upcoming week lol. Now I am sad waiting for the next Sunday LMAO

Summary

he party continued their journey to find Esmeralda's sister cores. In the first part of the anime, Esmeralda and Ruri noticed the presence of her sister Jumi's core nearby. Therefore, they decided to check the shore to find out where was the Jumi’s core located. As they looked around, they met with the penguin lady; ms Valerie, who happened to be Shiloh acquaintance. She was nesting and had just giving birth to an egg. Ms Valerie said that the egg was the proof of her love with David; another penguin who had left her to join the pirates crew. After a bit of introduction, Esmeralda showed Mrs Valerie about the shining green crystal in her chest; saying whether she had seen the same stone nearby. Mrs Valerie realized that the leader of the Digger; who resided in the nearby island had a necklace with a similar stone on it.

When did you go to the beach? LoL the previous episode never showed most of your journey

In the digger island, a group of digger along with their muscular vice leader were praying and looking for their missing leader who they called as Mr Putty. Just as the group met them, Esmeralda noticed he had an emerald necklace with him. She begged to the vice leader to give the emerald because it was her sister core and it means a lot for her. The leader agreed to give the emerald if they managed to find the missing Mr Putty. He said that the pirate ship just landed on the other side of the island so he asked them to navigate inside the ship to find Mr Putty. Serafina asked him about Mr Putty’s appearance and he replied that the man had a long pointy nose, an elegant standing pose, a fluffy hair, and he wore a golden ring in his left arm.

In the Pirate ship, the two pirate crews asked a new pirate member to guard the door while they heading upstairs. As he waited, he heard a voice upstairs. Shiloh tried to see downstairs and saw a big door protected by a lone penguin. He instantly recognized that he was Mrs Valerie’s lover; David. Then, the party explained to David that they had to find a missing Mr Putty because they need to get Esmeralda’s sister core. Fortunately, David gave them a pass to enter the room. He did not like the idea of taking hostage because it felt so low for the pirate gang to take hostage and tried to rule the land while they were supposed to roam the sea instead. Inside the room, they head a dog crying just inside a barrel. Shiloh and Rury picked the barrel and let the dog inside it free. Soon, they realized that the dog had the same description with the one that the vice leader mentioned to them. It had a pointy nose, a good standing posture, a fluffy hair, and most importantly; it had a golden ring on its left arm. How happy the vice leader when he saw Mr Putty was back along with the party. And just as he promised, he gave Esmeralda the Emerald necklace in his neck. Before continuing their journey, they took time to look at Mrs Valerie who already hatched the egg and hold the baby penguin on her hand. Shiloh gave her a permission to stay at his house so that Mrs Valerie would not be attacked by sea monsters and she gladly accepted.

They continued their search for the missing core and after a through searching; they managed to find another emerald stone; which means they only need to find one more gem. Just then, Elazul said that they need to rest for a while because Shinju-hime was exhausted from the long searching. The party postponed the adventure for a while and decided to head back to Geo for resupply. Ruri said that Shinju-hime might need a three days to recover so they decided to part for a while and would reunite at Geo in three days. Before leaving, Serafina wanted to tell Shiloh about something yet as he was listening, she decided to hold the conversation and said that it was nothing. After day passed, Shiloh and Esmeralda woke Shiloh up. They said that Mr Nunuzac gave information to them about Ms Kristie. A wealthy merchant specialized in selling antique and art piecess; who might know the location of the last emerald. Shiloh noticed that Serafina was not nearby and Esmeralda said that she could not find her in her home. She also added that it was possible for Serafina to help people in the market. Therefore, Ruri, Shiloh, and Esmeralda decided to meet Ms Kristie without Serafina and Shinju-hime who was in a recovery process.

I had a high hope that she was about to confess her love...oh boy I am so wrong

They met with Ms Kristie and asked her if she knew the emerald stone that look identical to the one Esmeralda hold. Ms Kristie asked her assistant Mr sothebee if he knew something similar to the stone. He replied that he had seen a similar stone in the storeroom. Ms Kristie asked them why they were looking for that gem and Esmeralda replied that the gem was her sister; a jumi core. She showed them the location of the storeroom and she even told them to take the gem if they wanted to. Just as the party headed to the storeroom, Mr Sothebee asked why she gave the gem right away and Ms Kristie just replied that having a jumi’s core only bring a bad luck. As they entered the room, Esmeralda instantly noticed one of the small chests had a glowing light on it. As she opened the chest, she found the last Emerald and she felt really happy finding all of her sister’s cores. Suddenly something just caught her attention. She walked to a statue that was actually Lady Diana. She was the leader of the bejeweled city as well as Ruben’s lover. The statue glowed and spoke to the party. Diana told them that Jumi was doomed to extinction ever since the last Jumi who could create the teardrop crystal died. Hence, there was no more Jumi could get resurrected and she asked Esmeralda to stop being a Jumi. Off course Esmeralda disagreed because she already got all her sister core and she would find a way to bring the tears back to Jumi. Then, Ruri asked Diana about what was the purpose of Jumi existence because he was born just after the fall of Diana. She agreed to give him the answer with one condition. Ruri should bring along lady Blackpearl to her. Ruri hesitated and said that he didn’t know the whereabouts of lady Blackpearl. After the meeting, the Shiloh and the other two went back to their original location. Ruri told Esmeralda to stay away from them because she already got her sister’s core back yet she proposed to continue sticking with them. Just then Serafina appeared to them with serious look on her face. Esmeralda got closer to her but out of sudden; Serafina grabbed the emerald stone in her chest and took it away; making Esmeralda disappeared with a shocking expression in her face. Not enough by taking her core, she also took the other emerald and ran away. Ruri immediately told Shiloh that Shinju-hime might be in danger right now and they moved as fast as they could to save her.

Review

inally; the legend of Mana teardrop crystal had a major plot twist on it. As far as I played the game, I never expected that Serafina would take Esmeralda’s core and stole the other emeralds.  In the original game it was Sandra herself who take Esmeralda’s core. There were two possible reasoning from Serafina’s action. Should Square-Enix wanted to play it safe, they should make as if Sandra stole Serafina’s identity as a way to get closer and execute Esmeralda at blind spot. By doing so, the real Serafina would be considered innocence and she may have to clear her name. However, there were also possible to make even bigger plot twist with her being the real assassin. Did she have other reason to take Esmeralda’s core such as Sandra took someone closer to her as a captive? Or is it possible that Serafina was not even a good person after all? There was a scene where Serafina wanted to take her spear as if she prepared to fight someone. Yet, she hesitated and left the spear as if she would better of not doing anything. Why did she hesitate to take arm... Does doing so only endanger someone else that she hold dear? In fact she goes as far as taking Esmeralda’s core meaning that despite their friendship, someone else means more important to her. Another thing to take note here was when Diana asked Ruri to take Blackpearl to her. Ruri expression showed that he knew all along that Shinju-hime was lady Blackpearl. Yet, he decided to conceal her real identity (maybe for her safety) rather than to tell them that he knew about her.

Apart from that surprising end part, I found some part of the anime just lack explanation. Such as Mrs. Valerie and Mr. David initial meeting with Shiloh. When did they meet before? There was no previous encounter between them as if characters just magically appeared in and out of the anime. It also happened to most of the previous episode like other town folk such as Nicollo. If I am a new viewer, I would be wondered about whose that cat person and where did Shiloh meet him? Why did Shiloh called the cat person as a scammer when there was no episode showed their adventure in the road. It was a bit confusing for new viewers if there were very tiny characters introduction that aired in the previous episode. Apart from its weaknesses thou this episode has a good twist because we never expect that the second protagonist might end up become the villain if her motive was not pure.

Synopsis

Legend of Mana; Teardrop of crystal is already at the 6 episode with another 6 episode before the anime closed its curtain. The episode opened with Serafina woke up from her slumber and preparing to start her day. While eating her breakfast, someone just called her name from outside. It was Esmeralda; a girl with a young hair she befriended in the town of Geo. Serafina asked why she called her even though the class has not started yet and she just replied that they already promised the teacher to help sorting book at the library yesterday. Both of them then heading out and greeted the town people on the way to the School. Moved forward to the Library; Esmeralda said that Serafina had blending quite well with the town folk although she just lived there for the past two weeks.  Serafina later told her about the magic class they should attend next. There was a bit of the color change in Esmeralda’s face as if she didn’t like to join the magical class. Yet, with a bit of Serafina encouragement, she promised to try her best in class.

In the Magic class, the instructor of the magic class asked the students to perform a magical attack using the medium of fire elemental spirit; Salamander. They need to play a flute imbued with the spirit and asked his assistance to help them burning the dummy target. In Serafina turn, she managed to contact the spirit and perform the fire magic; destroying the upper part of the target. Not only that Serafina was able to command the Salamander to burn the target directly instead of throwing the fireball from her flute, she also managed to make it to like her. In contrast, Esmeralda’s nervousness made her unable to hear the spirit and she failed the task. Not being able to hide her frustration; the instructor reprimanded Esmeralda that she should has listen to her and calm down a bit. Esmeralda later told Serafina how she wanted to be a full-fledged magician as soon as possible. However, with her current progress, it might take a while for her and it made her quite sad. Serafina encouraged her and said that she doesn’t look okay with that expression and then she suggested that they should looking for a place to eat instead.

Ruri's mind "he left for a bit and back with a harem?"

The scene moved to Shiloh who had just asking a town people about a Jumi’s whereabouts. Just as that time, Serafina and Esmeralda entered the building and Serafina noticed him. She called him and asked him about his current condition. Shiloh thanked her for helping him recover earlier and he asked her to follow him for a while because he intended to introduce his Jumi friends to her. Shiloh took both Esmeralda and Serafina to meet with Shinju-hime and Ruri. Just as they met and introduced themselves, Ruri noticed the feeling of having another Jumi nearby and he pointed out that Esmeralda was a jumi herself. Esmeralda admitted that she was a Jumi and she apologized to Serafina for hiding this fact even though they had been friend for some time. She revealed that it had been a while for her talking with another Jumi and the last jumis she had interaction with were her deceased three sisters.

One Esmeralda is not enough; We Demand Four

They went to a quitter place and listened to Esmeralda story about her escape from the Jumi hunters. Back then, the bejeweled city was attacked by the Jumi hunters and Esmeralda and her sisters were trying to escape from them. Being the youngest from the four sisters, the other tried to protect Esmeralda from the Jumi Hunters. Unfortunately for them, they had been killed one by one and their core taken. Esmeralda ran away from her pursuer until she fell on the ground. Just as the three Jumi hunters about to take her core, suddenly a light teleported the hunters away and when she looks back, she saw professor Nunuzac from the Geo magic academy. She owed the professor for saving her life and from that moment, she planned to be a full-fledged magician so that she could take her sister’s core back and revive them again one day. There were a bit of problem thou. Professor Nunuzac would never allow her to leave Geo if she didn’t have her own knight or at least she became a full-fledged magician. Shiloh and the other told her that they will support her and asked to meet with the professor directly

his episode was basically a character introduction and some background information of Esmeralda; the green haired girl friend of Serafina. Esmeralda herself s closely related to the green stone Emerald. That was the reason why she had a hair green color. Well, in my opinion, the episode tried to retelling the game player on how the magic system work such as how they need to use elemental spirits and instrumental equipment to contact them. I like the color of the animation that was vibrant and I know how well they animated their character is. The problem was there was a bit of a missing plot here and there. Like how Serafina met Esmeralda? We never saw them and out of sudden they were already friend. They could give more detailed background information for the viewer.  A little detail would make us know about the reason why she suddenly appeared in Geo. In this episode, Serafina took more spot time than Shiloh. It was as if they take turn as the lead protagonist. Well it was not bad for a while. At least she got her time to fleshed out a bit of her character here. The episode was a bit of lack luster but since it was focused on the story instead of the action, still I think it was an ok episode. The time spent for the story was a bit dragged on so that it could finish the 12 episodes. Therefore, expect a bit of more conversations down the line. In regard to Esmeralda’s event, I kind of forgot about what is going to happen to Esmeralda next so I am kind of curious with the next episode. Will she find the sister’s core or will she lose her own core because of Sandra? I will continue seeing the anime and hope there will be a better episode soon.

 Synopsis

he six episode of the Witch from Mercury started with the conversation between lady Prospera Mercury and Elan’s mentor; Belmeria Winston. First, Bel was surprised that Eleanora was still alive after the event that happened 21 years ago. Lady Prospera asked about why Bell had to side with the house of Peil and about the many enhanced pilots that they have. Bel replied that she had no choice but go with the Peil and she also tried to reason with Prospera to leave the grudge from the past. Just as Prospera leaving her, she talked to someone on phone and told the receiver that she had found out the other witch in the academy. When the other person on the phone asked whether she was worried, Prospera only replied that she had one percent trust on the Aerial Gundam and her beloved daughter. On the other place, the ladies from earth house were having a small meeting regarding what had just happened about Elan Ceres and how Suletta ended up dueling with him. Miorine told Suletta that at the very least she should asked her opinion first before deciding to accept the duel with Elan. Run forward to Geturk’s place, Guel had been relieved of his position as the head of Geturk‘s house and he was kicked out from the house; effective immediately. His father’s man said that he should be thankful that despite his stupidity to go against his will, he would still pay for his tuition money.  Guel took his bag and asked his brother; Lauda to look after the Geturk house in his place.

The start of the famous Guel's camp anime xD The scene moved to the duelist room and in there Suletta and Elan prepared the dueling vows. Elan staked for Gundam Aerial while Suletta still has not decided about her stake and she asked if she could postpone the stake until their next duel. Just after Elan left the room, Shadiq told Suletta about how Elan had started to be more defensive and how both Guel and Elan had somehow become a different person after her arrival. Since the next duel would be started in the space, the earth house people started to build a thruster for Aerial Gundam. Fortunately, despite having limited resources, Nika managed to build one from the spare parts that they have. The scene moved to Peil house. Elan woke up from his slumber and Belmeria told him that he moaned in his dream. Bel told him that he should have no problem to partake in the next battle yet Elan said that her remark means that it would be his last. Suddenly a figure entered the room and he look exactly just like Elan. Actually that was the real Elen Ceres; the house leader of Peil technologies. He cheerfully asked them about their preparation and he even sarcastically told the surrogate Elan to be more cheerful.

The one and not the only one, Elan Ceres

Suletta was testing the thruster for the Aerial Gundam in space. When Nika asked her feeling regarding the duel with Elan, Suletta turned gloomy and she said how dumb she was for easily trusting him. His kindness was all an act to get closer; and all of it was just a task given by the house of Peil and how happy she was receiving that small attention made her feeling down. Miorine bluntly said that she truly was annoying and how her naivety made her easily fall for such an act of kindness. However, Miorine said that was the Suletta that she knew; the same person that interfere with her situation and due to her meddling change Miornine’s fate. Miorine just chanting her mantra which said “if you move forward you may gain two” and she encouraged Sulleta to stop feeling sorry and run away. After regaining her resolve, Suletta went to the hangar of Peil’s technology while riding the Aerial. She asked the operators to connect her with Elan because she had an important message for him. The operators told her that it was pointless because he never talked even with them and they didn’t even know anything about the existence of Pharact Gundam themselves. After getting a chance to speak through the microphone, Suletta asked what made Elan annoyed about her and what will he do with Aerial. With no response from Elan, the operators told her that it was a pointless just like what they said. Suletta then started to sing a happy birthday song through the microphone hoping that in her last try he would reply. Finally, Elan called her directly and told her that he had no birthday. Suletta then said that if he did not have one, they might consider that day as his birthday to which he replied that she annoyed him so much.

Be a wife like Miorine ..whooped your s*rry 4ss but kept believing on you

Before the duel started, Sulleta revealed that what she wanted from the duel was nothing more than Elan to tell her about himself. It was obvious that just like a love confession, Sulleta wanted to know more about his opponent. As the battle started, Elan started to get more worked on defeating Sulleta by instantly taking an offensive move. He was angry because of all things; Suletta had everything that he had not. Suletta had a bunch of friends, a loving mother, a future and especially the memory of her past. The fact that Suletta wanted him to tell about his clouded past triggered him and made him blasting his beam rifle furiously. As Elan tried to start using his stun induced drones, Suleta bits provided cover to his mobile suit and they were evenly matched. However, Due to the difference that the Gundam Pharact permets storm made Elan feel weaker over time, Suletta started to give chase to Elan. At a time, Elan managed to deal damage to Aerial’s thruster, which made it lost the capabilities to move easier in the space. Since Aerial lost it movement greatly, Elan managed to stun many parts of Aerial Body. Yet, he didn’t know that Aerial’s defense mechanism started suddenly creating a shockwave that not only protected the unit but also disrupted and immobilized Elan’s drones. Images of a child in light showed before Elan's eyes and in that moment, groups of Suletta’s fin funnel like bits already surrounding the Pharact. In a moment, the fins blasted the Pharact with series of beam shots from many directions; destroyed its arm, leg, and one shot landed on the Pharact's antenna. Suletta Mercury once again became the winner of the duel and still the reigning holder.

Finally a Romeo and Juliet scene (for a few minute)

After the battle, Suletta went to the Pharact’s wreckage and tried to take Elan off the unit. Elan remembered that he once have a mother. This battle made him remembered a fragment of his long forgotten past. Elan told Suletta that he was wrong and now he knew that someone used to celebrate his birthday with him. Suletta said that he was not alone and she would celebrate his next birthday and then a real smile showed in Elan’s face; a smile so gentle that he showed just for her. In the next scene, Suletta and Miorine (well it was Suletta who was waiting technically) was waiting for Elan in the park. Miorine said that he at least should come earlier for his date and she told Suletta to come home before the curfew hour. In the house of Peil, the executives were ready to deactivate the “current” Elan Ceres. Bel protested that this “Elan” still had some use for them yet they already made a decision. In the moment before his deactivation, Elan sang a happy birthday in a slow and calm voice. at the same time, Suletta sat in the park’s bench thinking that Elan just a bit late for their date. Unbeknown to her, that “Elan” had already gone.

Review

n outstanding episode as well as the one with another big plot twists on it. First of all, I never knew that at the end of the day "Elan Ceres" was not that cunning as an individual. The person that we knew (let’s call him Elan 4) is just a dummy of the real Elan Ceres. It was a big twist as his real identity was not even a person named Elan but just another test subject that was having a face lift so he had the face of the real Elan Ceres. He was a disposable subject for the house of Peil and everything that he done was just a direct order from them. Just when we started to see the real color of Elan 4, he got deleted so fast. It marked this anime turn of darkness and I really like how interesting this anime had become. There is a possibility that another Elan will be introduced. However, this Elan (let’s say Elan 5) had no knowledge or emotion of Elan 4 so he would know nothing about Sulleta. It would create another confusing moment with Suletta later on. Also, it was nice to know how smudge the real Elan was and how he might be the big bad boss later on.

TRANS-ARMS or something like that

The battle of mobile suit also amazing to behold with how Aerial had built-in capabilities to survive even the most dangerous condition. The way Lady Prospera said at the anime beginning that Aerial would not lose which means that even if Elan tried his best, Aerial would automatically initiated the self defense mechanism to counter his mobile suit. By default it seemed as if Suletta won most of her battle via plot armor yet it was still nice to see them. The battle animated fluently and it did have a good pacing and resolve. The way that each Gunbits even have “soul” on them indicated how dark this anime could be. Did they sacrifice children soul on the making of those bits? Or is that image was the soul of Eric Samaya; Suletta’s real name. Is Aerial had Eric soul inside it; which means that it was a living weapon instead of just a machinery? Who was responsible on creating the Aerial since by the words of Bel, it would not be possible for Eleanora to create those very advanced armaments on her own. When Belmeria mentioned the incident from 21 years ago, some fans even creating their own plot twists as if the Suletta that we knew is not even Erict Samaya. The incident from 21 years ago may represent the events from the anime prologue and if that was correct, Suletta should have been a 25 years old..not 16. They speculate that she may be the second daughter of Eleanora or even the clone of the real Eric. Alas, those are still speculations and no matter how good those plot twists are, the real outcome will be revealed later on so we are still openly free from spoiler (at least for now).

This scene is so simple yet powerful. Anyone got PTSD watching this?

This anime made me happy because as Gundam had been an aging franchise, it still entertaining and the plot twist is still going strong even for the six episodes. The character had rub on me and now the possibilities of a bigger plot twist in on horizon. It was another great episode and this anime hooked me up. The open possibilities are big and we may see more possibilities down the line. Is lady Prospera going to be the big bad and the enemy of Suletta? Or is the real Elan Ceres is the big bad one? Who helped Eleanora built Gundam Aerial? Is there a traitor among the three houses? Is Eric Samaya and Suletta Mercury even the same person? All of those questions made this series liked by the fans even if it was using Yuri theme as bait for new viewers (or not a bait but real Yuri IDM lol)

e almost halfway through this anime and now we started the synopsis of Teardrop Crystal episode 5. The scene started with the two small magicians; who took care of Shiloh house; wondering why their master has not came home yet. There was a knock in the door and when they opened it, they found Serafina carrying Shiloh in her back. She asked them to help her bring the injured person to bed. After asking for water and towel, Serafina and the two little magicians tried to reduce Shiloh fever. Moved forward for few days, finally Shiloh fever had gone and Serafina told Bud and Lisa she would be heading out. At the third days, Shiloh regained his consciousness. He remembered that he just lost to Sandra and noticed that someone else had nursed him back to health. When he went downstairs, he met with Bud and Lisa and they told him how Serafina had stayed for a few days to nurse him back to health and to cook them some delicious foods.

Serafina sighted "why did he kept losing. Should I take the lead?"

Shiloh went outside and found a mail for him. Inspector Boyd wrote that he was sorry for involving him to the Jewel theft case. From that day onward, the Inspector asked him to not join him in another Sandra case and asked Shiloh to tell the people at Domina city that he might be out for a while.Shiloh went to Domina to repair his broken sword. He met with Rachel’s father and told him about his sword. Mark told Shiloh that his sword was a good sword (unless it’s broken otherwise (and) if he wanted a better one, he should look for the Blacksmith named Watts. In a moment, Shiloh took a visit to the cavern and met with his acquaintance; Pokhiel, one of the continent seven wonders.  He shouted and called Watts about his costumer.  In short, Shiloh gave his broken sword to Watts and he agreed to fix it. Nevertheless, he lack one material called mythril and if Shiloh need to upgrade his broken sword into a fully and better upgraded sword, he should look for a monster named iron centaur in the Leires tower and get a material called mythril from it. Afterward, Watts gave Shiloh a sword; which is imbued with the light essence. He told Shiloh that the other sword Mark gave to him back in Domina might not be strong enough to crush the iron centaur. In addition, he gave Shilow an artifact that opened the tower of leires.

In front of Leires tower, Shinju hime was wandering alone and by the looks of it, she got separated again with her knight; Ruri. She also heard a voice calling her from inside the tower; so she decided to enter it. Not long after, Shiloh who happened to get inside, noticed Shinju hime entering the tower. He shouted her name and got closer. The first thing Shinju-hime do was getting startled; got afraid and covered both of her ears. Shiloh instantly reintroduced himself and tried to calm her. Shiloh asked her if she got separated once again from Ruri…and then she just realized about it. During their journey searching for Ruri, Shinju kept hearing a voice calling for her. And before long, she wandered alone again not noticing that she got separated from Shiloh until the later managed to track her again.  Inside the tower, the two of them had to encounter some monsters and Shiloh tried to defend Shinju on any occasion. Inside one of the tower room, Shinju found a white crystal and she accidentally touched it. Suddenly the door closed and the room moved upward. The door opened and in front of the elevator, there was a huge hall with a big decorated door on the other side of the room. Shinju-hime said that the one who called her was just behind that big door. Just as they got closer to the door, one of the centaur statues that stand in the front of the door turned into a living being. Shiloh brandished his sword as the statue talked about whether they were worthy to enter the room or not. The giant statue just whooped his giant axe down and Shiloh parried it with his sword. Unfortunately, his sword instantly broke due to the excessive force from the guardian’ power. Shiloh took the other sword that Watts gave to him to replace his broken sword and it started to glow in a light.. Using his new sword, Shiloh could make an energy wave and it hit the centaur. In retaliation the guardian stormed both Shinju and Shiloh with a thunder spell. Fortunately, despite her clumsiness, Shinju-hime was fast enough to avoid the lighting.  With only one swing, Shiloh defeated the guardian and before the iron centaur turned into ashes he said that they passed his test.

And whose fault it is? xD

As they entered the room, they found the image of lady Blackpearl inside tit. Shiloh was very confused because she looks just like Shinju-hime. The image of Lady blackpearl just told Shinju-hime not to forget about her role. Afterward, they heard Ruri shouting for Shinju hime name nearby. They met with Ruri and told him that they had been looking for him. Shiloh told both of Shinju-hime and Ruri that their life might be in trouble because the Jewel hunter; Sandra, was targeting every Jumi that she met. Later, Shiloh told them about his previous adventure and how he was unable to save the other Jumi let alone defeating Sandra during their previous encounter. Shiloh said that despite knowing Ruri had a decent swordsmanship, it might not be enough to protect him and Shinju Hime from Sandra. Therefore, he asked them to let him join on their adventure. After telling Shiloh that he could not guarantee his safety for tagging along, Ruri let Shiloh to enter their party and he also told him that they would go to city of Geo next. Ruri said that in that town there was another Jumi living and they hoped to find the other Jumi tribe as soon as possible.

Yay my first ever boss win

A pretty straight forward episode from teardrop of crystal. Like usual the pacing was slow at the beginning with half of the episode focused on Shiloh’s recovery and his focus on getting a new sword. Then, the pacing suddenly moved fast with him entering the tower of Leires and they had to defeat the guardian of the towers. The battle scene was even more lacking than the last episode. I don’t know why they made the battle scene this boring for an action themed Role Playing game. In this episode, I can count that there were only two scene when Shiloh fighting the enemy. The first one was when he tried to defend Shinju-hime from the living weapon like sword and spear. And the second one was when he fought against the iron centaur. And despite of how good the game was, the anime could not do justice to the anime’s battle scene. The Iron centaur itself fell right after Shiloh used Watts sword and it happened just so fast. I am a lost at words trying to find the good sides of this episode lol.  Shinju was still acting like clueless and sloppy hime like usual and she got constantly lost and walked on her own. Other character like Pokhiel and Watts was there to slow the tempo and to give Shiloh some knowledge about what he should do next.  Lady Blackpearl only appeared just for a few second and I kinda forget if she did playable in the event of Leires Tower. However, there was no clue about what and why she made an appearance lol. With this mediocre episode, I don’t have a big expectation for the next episode. I hope the Geo city episode had something that at least makes me interested more to this anime. I hope

 Synopsis

pisode 5 of Witch from Mercury started with the three on one duel between the house of Daigo and Elan Ceres. It was not long before Elan disarmed two of his opponent’s mobile suits. When only one mobile suit remaining, Elan let it dashed to his mobile suit only to counter it with her mobile suit double beam saber. He emerged victorious against three persons with a calculated strategy. Meanwhile the student body was discussing the rareness of Elan to accept the duel. Unbeknown to them, he was actually tasked to test the newest machine from the house of Pail and that battle was just like a test run for him. In the other place, There was a meeting in the house of Peil, they discussed about how the test subject no 4 had been doing (they mean Elan). They also discussed about the other witch in the school (which means Suletta). Based on the analysis, the Aerial Gundam cleared the problem that usually happened with any Gund format machine regarding to bioethical condition that affecting Gundam pilots.

Back to the Earth house, Nika and the earthian boys were checking on the Aerial Gundam. They were very excited with how great the aerial built was and how much budget must be spent on making that machine. Meanwhile, Suletta was very surprised when Elan suddenly called her when she was being told about her fortune. He asked Suletta to meet him later on her next break or in short, he was asking to date her. In the girl’s room, they were teasing Suletta about her upcoming date. Lipati said that she reject Guel’s proposal because Suletta wanted to date Elan instead.  Just then Aliya remarked that Elan was nicknamed as the ice prince because he never showed any emotion to anyone before. And now out of sudden, he asked Sulleta to hang out with him. Suleta; who got a bit discouraged with Aliya’s word, called her mother regarding her upcoming date. She was not sure about having a date with Elan because she did not know him so well and for a reason, he never smile or show an emotion. Nevertheless, her mother encouraged Sulleta to continue the date and reminded her how happy she was should Sulleta moved forward and fulfill her wish list.

At the day of the meeting, the people from the Earth house helped Suletta transporting the Aerial. It seemed that Elan asked Suletta to bring the aerial with her. Miorine came and tried to stop Sulleta; telling her that he was an enemy but the Earthian stopped her from getting closer. After that Sulleta finally met with Prince charming eh I mean Elan. They operated the Aerial and Elan joined her in the cockpit. Elan asked if she got suffering while piloting the unit and Suletta replied that instead of suffering, she felt at ease while riding the unit .Elan then asked Suletta to to let him test the unit by himself and Suletta agreed. In the cockpit, Elan tried to check on whether the unit was a real Gundam or not by testing the permet score. He found out that the mobile suit was a Gund format yet something just feels different. He check on her right hand and he didn’t feel the permet rising and it’s not responding. He got out from the unit with a cold expression in his eyes. Suletta asked slowly if he could tell his birthday but to her surprise Elan straight forwardly said that she was annoying. He even said that the Gundam was just a curse for him and they were not alike at all. Suletta shocked with his reply and tears started to well up in her eyes. In that instant moment, Guel who got info regarding their date arrived to the scene. Just as he arrived, he found out that Suletta was on the verge of tears. He asked Elan about what had he done to her. What he didn’t anticipate was Elan suddenly challenged him to a duel.

Did anyone mention family?? - Dom Toretto 2022

In the dueling committee room, Guel and Elan prepared to form the duel pack. Guel staked that if he wins, Elan should stay away from Suletta. Elan in the other hand asked Suletta that should he win the battle, he will duel again with Suleta; one on one in their respected mobile suit. Suleta did not react much but she agreed to that term. The duel started with Guel control his brother’s Dilanza ( which his half brother Lauda; strongly against cause it might make their father angrier)and Elan used a special mobile suit named Phalanx. Unlike the previous mobile suit that Elan used against the house of Daigo, this mobile suit looks like a slender built one with a black color as it theme color and used riffle as its main weapon. The battle started and Elan started the match with a series of beam riffle raining to the Dilanza. Guel countered it with using the magnetic storm to create distraction and tried to catch the unit with the axe. Elan said that he was using him as a way to test his unit. The Phalanx then started its drone series and they showered the DIlanza with a red like laser. To Guel surprise, the red laser didn’t explode when it contacted directly to his unit but it just stuns the part for a few second. Meanwhile, Lady Prospera or who we knew as Suletta’s, mother just watched the duel and she realized that the Phalanx also used a Gun format. Suddenly, the woman who mentored Elan came and called her as an old friend. Lady Prospera did not show a surprised look and she just remarked that there was actually another witch in that place. Back to the Duel, the Phalanx red light while didn’t explode in contact still managed to make Guel’s Dilanza limp for a second so he devised a way to get closer by thumping his axe to the ground creating a sandstorm (which he hope to make the visibility turns low) and tried to get closer to Elan. Just about when he almost got Elan, a setup of Elan’s trap just pierced the Dilanza body from various angles made the unit stopped moving. Elan destroyed Guel stunned mobile suit’s antenna and declared as the winner. Just after defeating Guel, Elan contacted Suletta right away. He told her that he will fight her next as promised and the prize that he wanted was.. Aerial Gundam.

Review.

I am glad that even after 5 episodes, Gundam WFM still gives a solid episode with Elan being the focus of today’s episode. The First thing that I saw was how cunning Elan is and how dangerous individual he could be. From the first part of the anime, when he was fighting Daigo house, the other students mentioned that he was not too eager to do dueling yet here he was fighting against three opponents (and winning by the way). It seems like Peil’s Technology was behind everything in Elan’s decision and this duel was more or less a mock battle to him to test his combat prowess.  Why did Elan; the ice prince even bother having a date with Suletta who he just met for a couple week. It was all a ploy by the Peil  Technologies to get the Aerial’s technology on their hand. He tried to board the aerial alone so he could check on what was the unit’s secret. And his research about the machine freaked him out because Aerial was way different than the usual Gund format machine. It didn’t strain the pilot like the other Gundams’ mobile suit. The fact that Suletta was not enhanced and didn’t get her body stressed out due to the amount of Permet influx to the pilot’s body made him frustrated Afterward, when Guel got angry because he made Suletta crying, he instantly challenged Guel as if he was expected it to happen. What was the catch of him dueling Guell? Not to show his ego as a better pilot but because he was targeting Aerial Gundam from the very beginning. His stake was to get a chance fighting Suletta with Aerial as the his main target. He knew very well about Guel's tendency to fight recklessly and confidence enough that Guel would lost in their upcoming duel. Nevertheless, It made a strong built up for the next episode because we knew how tenacious Elan would be fighting Suletta and how would Suletta defeat the ever cunning Elan since we knew he would make lot of traps and devised a strategic battle formula in their next duel.

(So that Suletta  would be mine and mine only muahahahaha)

This episode also told us how Guel already became a somewhat different person. His lost to Suletta more or less humbled him and when he knew that Elan made her cry, he instantly challenged him to duel and even though he still lost during the battle (due to Elan’s scheme), he still gave a strong performance as a pilot (although in this case, his Dilanza was not in the same class as Elan’s Phalanx). At the beginning of the series, he was a total jerk who considered Suletta as a country bumpkin and now he was trying to protect her dignity even though he might get another storm coming for using his brother's mobile suit without his father consent. To make it worse, he had wrecked another mobile suit in the process and although knowing him, he would not regret his decision even a bit. His father still gonna slapped him like a lot in the next episode thou lol.

The only thing lacking from this episode was the lack of the focus of our other protagonist; Miorine. This episode was more or less stress much on Elan and for the time being, our princess would have to step back and enjoy less than a half minutes appearance. I am kind of wishing she could give a lesson or two to that scheming prince LMAO.  In this episode we could see that Suletta trusted Elan enough to make her bring along the Gundam and let him entered the cockpit and after that he just instantly rejected her; revealing that he was never interested to her from the beginning. He only wanted to know her Aerial not her being a person. With the next episode might become one of the most decisive battles for Suletta, I could not hide my excitement to watch it soon. I hope our Heroines gonna give him the biggest slap in his face (or dignity) for playing with her heart.
