Dragon house hunting episode 4 was out now and thankfully I managed to review it as early as I could now. After the last time with Letty unsuccessful dream house, Dearia tried to send Letty somewhere peaceful and calm or to be exact the place where less people even want to live on. Dearia took Letty to an Ice field. Off course it was predictable that Letty will not be able to stand the cold despite him being a fire dragon type xD. Since Letty need to man up, I am pretty sure that even Dearia will like to test Letty survival instinct by sending him somewhere with harsh environmental. If Letty could survive the ordeal, he would be able to live and feed himself. The most important thing when you are living in a wild is the ability to find raw foods and process it into an edible food. In addition, processing raw foods needed fire and knowledge about various spices/herbs that can be consumed safely. But can a dragon like Letty did that?

Cosplaying as the hero? why not ^^

The good thing was the ice field was spacious and Letty didn’t need to buy materials like logs and concrete because here, he had to create his house using an ice; or to be exact, the surrounding provided the materials for free. With a little planning from Dearia, he built himself an Igloo. Kudos to him, he managed to finish it, which I think is quite surprising because this time around he had no helper. Yet, the fun part was going to start as soon as the igloo finished. Dearia told him that the place was isolated and he wanted to test Letty if he could survive living alone in the deserted ice field alone xD.

This anime actually teaches you how to make igloo lol so be thankful :P

There were some funny scenes at least during the first time Letty tried to find his first food. At the beginning he wanted to hunt reindeer for his lunch; just after he tried to secretly move closer, the scene instantly changed to him being chased by three reindeers. If catching reindeers was too difficult for him, how about catching rabbits? They should not pose as a threat right? The fact is, he could not even catch a rabitt because he was too slow lol and when he fell down, the rabbits just pushed his body like a ball (since he was wearing a round fur jacket). It was quite funny and ironic that when he tried his last luck with the wolves, he got stuck in the snow and the wolves just shoved snow dirt to him. He completely feels defeated since he never even once had hunting experiences. His luck get even worse when he found an egg near the ocean and the ice that he step on cracked setting him adrift to the ocean.

Letty; a domesticated dragon, goes for his first hunting

After not eating for almost a day he started thinking about eating the egg. However, kind hearted Letty instantly thought about the time an egg thief stole the dragon eggs. That event was the very reason why he lost his home and also he just did not want to be the same people who steal someone else eggs. Just then, suddenly he got swallowed by a large sized whale. He awoke to find a merman like man named Dave Jonas greeting him. The funny part was that even though he hate the reality that he was currently lived inside a whale’s belly (and with a horror of being digested), it was kind of place that he loves. Inside there, there were plenty of fishes that the whale’s swallowed. There were even cooking utensil, gun powder, tea, and some human belonging that get inside the belly when the whale eaten a part of ship. The place was warm and with the location inside a gigantic belly, there will be no heroes inside ever xD. In short, expect for a stink part in some area, inside the whale belly might be the first place where Letty really enjoyed living on.

Shinji be like "Nigecha dameda", Letty be like "Tabecha dameda" LMAO

Still, Letty was a kind dragon. So, when he saw the egg, he knew that he could not continue living there and he had to give it back to the owner. He told Dave that he had to leave the place and he agreed to send him off. Using pepper, Dave made the whale sneeze and threw Letty out from the whale’s belly. Letty was once again drifting in the piece of ice with his egg xD what a poor-poor letty. Just as he got hungry again, a seal got to the land of ice that he stands for. He was thankfull that somehow he got himself a seal’s meat. Thou he was later on decided not to harm it due to how cute it looks lol. Thankfully, the seal was actually Dearia who morphed into a seal. Dearia explained that he was actually keep a close eyes on letty and he was sorry for testing him. At the beginning, he was thinking if Letty could survive on his own but in the reality, wilderness proves too much for the timid dragon. Just before the end of the episode, the egg hatches and from there comes out a cute little bird who instantly call Letty papa haha so cute.

It was a healthy little dragon xD congratulation Letty

The episode was better than the previous episode in spite of the fact that humor didn’t elevate too much from previous episode. I still got a bit of laugh from the time when letty goes meat hunting lol. Also, the anime started to focus more on the heartwarming moments, which I think was not entirely bad. As for today episode, I think I could keep on watching Letty and Dearia quest for finding his ideal home. And don’t forget that now Letty is a father xD

Full Dive RPG continuing last week episode event in which the old man Ginji revealed Hiro identity. Without waiting too long, the town guard already surrounded Hiro despite the fact that it was supposed to be realistic. Even Hiro got flabbergasted due to how inconvenience this game was especially to his favor. The tiny bit of information was revealed that the old man Ginji was still serving his sentence and he was currently on parole. The old man revealed Hiro identity because he want to get the bounty money. The misfortunes continue for Hiro as he walked with the guards to jail the townspeople started throwing things like rock and pumpkin to him. Just then, he remembered that he was the hero of the game and he had special mission to safe the world. Then, he instantly told the Guards captain that he might be given an important quest by the king to save the world. Unfortunately for him, the game doesn't work normally like a standard Massive Multiplayer Role Playing game. The captain instead told him that other people (players) said similar thing to him already so; just being a hero in this game was useless. You had to prove your worth by doing a hero's work not by killing your best friend. Even from the very beginning, there were unlimited possibility on how the player can start their adventure. Whether they started like normal such as helping the best friends request picking apple, strolling with the childhood friend, or even killing both of the first NPC, It was a very open ended scenario and unfortunately, Hiro had a very-very bad luck to start his adventure.
How can a poorly designed supplementary actor could be an E Honda :D

Hiro was sent to jail in which it smell like a real jail that even the urinate smell like a real world one. Just as he wanted to log out of the game, he realized that he could not get out until the event finished. What event that forced a player to remain in the game though?? It was like a nightmare or do you know a state called sleep paralyzed? it was the condition when you realized that you were sleeping but regardless on what you do, you just could not wake up. It was the same condition with Hiro at this very moment. He hate the game but he could not leave it until a certain event take place. To make thing even worse, Hiro could feel hunger too in game so, the longer he waited, the hungrier he became. Just as he waited quite long, the ghost of his deceased best friend (or his illusion maybe) appeared and terrorized him.
Password please ^^   (Where is the fukin manual xD)

If you watched the opening of this anime, you will see four girls that that the anime had focused on. Maybe this anime sooner or later is going into a harem path. Although by now I had my own skepticism toward that since one of them already turns into a psychopath (Alicia). After two episodes, we already saw the other three ladies; one was Sharon, the shopkeeper, Alicia; the main character sweetheart, Kaede; Hiro's sister, and one mysterious red haired lady with a twin tail and revealing clothes. This episode mainly focus on her introduction. After hearing Hiro screaming for help, the red haired lady opened the cell gate and introduced herself as Mizariza. She guided Hiro to enter a room in which there is a bed in it. Hiro was stunned when suddenly there is an a warning that soon he can choose to accept or not an intense stimulation event. At the beginning he thought that the event was an adult time event in which he can started a sexual intercourse event with the lady.

This is adult..not "sexy" related but "gore" one

In spite of him being quite excited toward the "intense stimulation", it ended up as another "intense" event with different meaning. At the begining, Hiro thought that he was going to get an S&M treatment that he was looking forward to any material that she would use to "torture" him; either it was a whip or a candle. The only thing that he did not expected was a big red saber that she took out. What Mizariza means by starting the fun was actually she will start torturing him for real using that weapon. Poor Hiro just could not take a break as she really intended to sever both his arms and legs and the only way he can finish the event and leave the cursed game is if he could endure the pain. Reona did come to his side even though in reality she was not helping at all. She only explained that the event can be concluded; according to her was if Hiro could endure the pain while keeping his mouth shut that he was responsible for Martin's dead. Extremely frightened and felt a sharp pain in his leg, Hiro pissed on his pant. Fortunately, for the first time ever, he got a good luck. The event when he pissed his pant actually save him from losing either his arms or legs. The wetting of his pant opened a special event in which a soldier come into the room and asked her to stop the torture. Sharon congratulated Hiro for finding a new solution to his torture although by now, Hiro was already too embarrassed (due to pissing on his pant) that he can left the game without losing a body part xD.

A fairy works is giving advice to the players. Well it stays true to its genre :P

In conclusion, this episode was an ok episode well if I can rate it, it could get 6-7 from the range of 10. There is not much action but it introduced us for another main character. I think today episode had a slower pace compared to the other anime that I reviewed. The plot moves slowly and before I realized it, the episode already ended. At the beginning, I don't know if Mizarisa is another player character or just an NPC. However, after re-watching it for the second time, I can say that she was an NPC with a distinct personality. What going to happen on the next episode? will Mizariza become the companion of Hiro? Can hiro leaves the town unscathed and will he ever continue his quest to save the world?

You want pleasure? nope this game won't give you any ;p Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara third stage impression

Finding a perfect house is not an easy thing to do let alone finding it for a coward and small red dragon. Even in the real world, I don’t think that a house that completely suffice for living and gives complete comfort is possible and so is in the anime world. As I watched the third episode of the Dragon goes house Hunting, I realized more how blunt and over repeated the humor is. Yeah I admit that some scene had good heartwarming moment. Yet, another scene like when Letty got very embarrassed after lady in the painting read his poem was not…. funny. It feels so forced, unnatural, and for an anime with a focus on comedy that was a bit lackluster honestly.

At first it was cute; the up tenth time it was annoying

Letty, like usual was still your coward and extremely passive dragon and Dearia the bishonen elf worked as Letty guide on finding his dream house. After the failure from the last episode on the house searching, Dearia asked letty if they can stop by the crone lair. Letty instantly thought that it was another scary place and cowered in fear and hide on nearest bushes. I think letty cowardice can make viewers hate him because it was kept getting shown on screen as if he had no flame of courage left inside his body and because it was not funny, it can get annoying at times. I don’t know how the creator can think that using coward dragon as a main character can automatically induce laughter. It doesn’t work that easily though because for a good comedy to work, you need to create smart word/jokes or maybe you can add a bit of exaggeration in his reaction like .. for example, instantly turned his body and tip toing away from Dearia silently just after he told letty about where they will go.

Dearia is that kind of friend that shoot your dream off the moment you had them xD

Dearia told letty that he need to return the bed that he lent before from them (the crone). And he explained that the bed was kept inside a Doraemon’s like pocket which can save and store any item (well last week they parodied Ju-on now Doraemon). The Crone people themselves was like the three fate lady that appeared on Disney’s Hercules (although they were more like the old granny who gave Snow White a poisonous apple, who all have an eye patch on them). Some part of the joke about how letty afraid to dwarves since they made equipment from dragon’s body part was also shown again *yawn. The anime still replicating the same formula like the first episode that Letty was afraid to the dwarves (well in letty’s case, even a rat will appear like a ghost since he was an extreme coward).

B- for Drama, E for comedy xDxDxD

With Letty still could not find the perfect house, Dearia made an offer to build his home from scratches. After summoning the gnomes and the Ogres, They started to build his dream house. It was a good perfect cottage from letty’s dream though he still had to pay for the home materials. Dearia said that he should not worry about the payment because he already think about the payment. He purposely let the heroes (who appear on the first episode) to come adventuring on letty’s house. Dearia plan was allowing the heroes venturing into the house while he asked a help from a werewolf, a minotaur, and a lizardman to work as the home guardian. While the heroes went inside the house, the guardian will attack them and steal any possession/valuables that they had. It worked so well but it just goes extremely too well that every time the heroes got robbed, the rumor of a mighty dragon guarding a house was spreading across the land. Off course this rumor only attracted more and more low level monsters taking shelter in Letty’s house.

Oh I just can't wait to be kiinggg ///-///not

Letty who found out that he suddenly turned into a mighty king dragon who ruled over a famous adventurer spot felt the responsibility stressed him up. Without too many word, he decided to leave the house that he dreamed off until the elf catch up with him. There is still a sweet moment when Dearia told Letty that even if it took hundred years to find his house, he will continue to accompany him. It was truly heartwarming although…it was supposed to be a funny anime not emotional lol.  The reason why it took me too long for this episode review was because I just could not find anything peculiar about this episode haha. This episode was a disappointment for me..Same formula, same dragon anxiety, overused comedic pattern. Maybe a four out of ten is suffice..too bad Letty.

Letty dream house and how it was a bit too perfect for him. Dragon house hunting episode 3 impression

Finally we got another amazing episode from Joran starting from the first minute to finish. Well this episode seems quite short for me because it was started with a bang and had much more action oriented event all over the episode. From the first minute we found out that Jin Kusuhara a.k.a Nue boss tried to stop Sawa Yukimura from finding Asahi. He told her that the moment she lost her calm, and choose over the girl life over her revenge, the more vulnerable she was for Janome’s traps. Kuzuhara tried to stop her because at this very moment, the the blue blood inside Sawa’s body was targetted by Janome to strengthen him further and it seems that his plan for capturing her was already on motion. He also mentioned that he knew Tsukishiro’s betrayal all along as well as the fact that she secretly killed the cleaner.

Maybe she meant Jin should retire and become farmer somewhere lol

The battle did not last long and Kusuhara managed to beat Yuki due to the fact that she was hesitating. After Yuki fell unconscious, Jin took her into a car and drove away. Just as he rode, they got blocked by changelings that look like dogs and after a brief high chase and lots of explosion, Kusuhara’s car got crashed. The beaten up Kusuhara saw a figure holding sawa’s still unconscious body and that person was Tsukishiro. She took Sawa with her and left her former boss holding his injured stomach.

a certain lady said that she doesn't care for Asahi's life ;p

While being unconscious, Sawa had a dream from her past; especially the time when she was still living happily with her brother. His brother told her that birds was their clan’s closest friend in which I assume why the white crow can somehow unleashed her true potential. This scene also worked as the base for the emotional build being showed later on. First of all, her brother was still alive and in captivity but he was already lost his sight and he barely can move at all. Second, with Sawa close bond to her brother, his dead will definitely unleashed her repressed emotion and she might need another support after his passing (I got reminded of Asahi at this moment; maybe she will be the one who will save her later emotionally). Finally, Sawa waking up in a place that she didn’t recognized. When the light turn on, she saw some painting that resembles an old renaissance painting and someone that she knew well. Janome and her co-worker turned into a traitor; Tsukishiro.

Maybe Janome was inspired from megaman's snakeman

What I don’t understand from this anime was about Tsukishiro’s allegiance. First off all, she knew Janome and I thought that she was the villain of the story. However, just as they managed to capture Yukimura by using Asahi, she was also the very person who killed Janome’s snake pets and released Yukimura from captivity. If a smart villain like Janome can get confused with Tsukishiro’s act of betrayal, how about me who was just a normal viewer lol. Just what was her true motive? Is she really stood for or against Yoshinobu Tokugawa?  Even after the last episode, she was already behaving suspiciously. Still, if she doesn’t side with Nue (Yoshinobu side) yet she also betrayed Janome even if they had a shared goal then whose side she belongs to? What kind of freedom did Tsukishiro sought after???

What I love bout this show is that she is not a Mary sue. Off course she is strong but not invincible

The main event of this episode off course was the fight between Sawa and Janome who had enhanced his body with Sawa’s blood. It was a great battle but isn’t it a bit anti-climactic if they put the supposed end game in the fourth episode? With eight more episodes, the battle against Janome should be on the eleventh or twelfth episode. But in my opinion, if it was the end of Janome, it means that Sawa’s revenge was over. Doesn’t that mean that she already lost his purpose of life since her drive to keep alive was to avenge her family? The fact remained that by end of this episode, Sawa did kill Janome, Tsukishiro managed to escape (although minus an arm). And least but not last, her captivated brother finally die peacefully knowing that he could save his sister with his last dying breath. The scene when she cried while holding her brother was very strong emotionally and I am not regret to say that this anime at least had a heart on it. Yuki was always pictured as a cold and merciless lady that this scene wants to show us how fragile she was in reality. This break her apart and showed her weak side as a woman and as a sister.

I know break the ice queen moment was not rare but..this scene was powerful

If I could rate this episode, I will give a nine out of ten for all of the actions and emotions jam packed inside this one episode. Honestly, before I review this anime, I never had a high expectation from this anime. Since the first episode, it seems like another action oriented anime with a tsundere and cold main character. But as each episode passed, I found that each scene link to each other neatly and every confusing term that we saw in the earlier episode was explained one by one while keeping the action in high octane. I guess after this very intense episode, the anime will go into a breather episode. Or, the producer of Joran will create a new opponent. After all, the first episode already showed a mysterious female changeling and maybe she will be an even bigger threat to Sawa.

Yukimura showed her real emotion for the first time, an action packed and emotional journey on the fourth episode of Joran, the princess of Snow and Blood

The Princess of Snow and Blood continues to the third episode. Unfortunately, instead of seeing Yuki and Hana duke it out after the last episode conclusion, we are instantly brought to Yuki asking why did Kusuhara order Hana to kill the treasurer lady. Just as cold as an ice, Kusuhara said that the order of disposing her came directly from lord Yoshinobu himself and although Yuki complaining about why did they had to dispose her son too, Kusuhara just said that she should not bring her emotion along. As I watch this episode, I found out that there are more mysteries to be answered and there was an even bigger revelation waiting to be unveiled. As usual, I would like to say be very cautious cause I may spoil the story. This anime actually did answer a lot of the character's background information during the previous episode and this episode didn't try to take a steep back and prolong the surprise either.

Don't worry we will find out even sooner :)

After three episode, finally I know the little girl name; Asahi (hahaha pardon me but in the earlier episodes, Yuki never said her name before, and I am not very good at reading kanji name xP). After meeting with Kuzuhara, Tsukishiro talked with Yukimura regarding to her "little sister". He said that if possible, Yukimura should drop the " big sister" act and take the little girl out of her life. As usual Yukimura coldly replied that she never care about her "sister" well-being only for Tsukishiro replying that he too understand her sentiment.  The episode scene moved to Yukii and Asahi having a dinner. Yuki bluntly asked Asahi to leave the house because her health already recovered. She also give her some money and ticket and promised her that after she finally got her revenge, Asahi can come and kill her later. As harsh as Yukimura tried to be, I know that she was doing her best to protect the little girl from Nue's grasp. After the last incident with the treasurer lady, Yukimura knew that having Asahi with her not only will made her unable to focus on her mission, there is a possibility that the government will try to hurt Asahi too when they considered that Yuki might become another threat to the reigning order.

She was also an orphan like you right ^^ whose parents are murdered

Heartbroken Asahi went to the older lady that she kept talking about to Yuki. She was an old woman who raise a pet dog and live in nearby area. At the beginning, I thought it was just a normal scene but as the story unveiled, the lady was more than just an ordinary civilian. I thought it was better for you to see the reveal later so I wont say anything bout her for now ;p

Two dead flags confirmed

The Second part of the anime showed that Nue team (Yuki, Tsuki, and Hana) exposed the "cleaner" connection to Janome. Cleaner was a term used for a man who work for the government. His work was like a grave digger as well as a man who took any evidence left of the person that the government's erased. When the Nue team exposed his evidence money, his reaction was very surprised as if he never know that there was a money inside his casket. In a desperate moment, he exploded the bomb that he planted nearby and disappeared in the thin air. Tsuki ordered Yukimura to descent to a secret tunnel right away. Then he asked Hana to go to the tunnel's other side exit to pincer his escape. It was just a distraction anyway because he knew the person hide somewhere close. He opened the casket and find the scared man right away. I thought that Tsuki wanted to protect the man..I'm so wrong since he shot the man later and made it as if the man attacked him

Surprising but a bit too early ..maybe better if they kept it for 7-8 episode

I knew this anime tried it best to create suspense and it hide most of the character's secret. However, Joran never shy away to reveal it as fast as it got the chance. For example; Tsukishiro's gender was discovered a bit too early in my opinion. The very reason that Hana never tried to seduce "him" was because Tsuki was never a man to begin with. Her secret gender identity was so effective cos I never even saw this coming.. although this kind of revelation was better to be kept secret for later episode. This event also tell us that Tsukishiro could not be trusted entirely because "she" always work in the shadow as if holding another motive (I don't want to say it more because it was a bit too much a spoiler, better watch yourself)

She will never be my sister; Joran, the Princess of Snow and Blood episode 3 impression

Let’s start the review for the second stage of Full Dive RPG. Continuing last week, after escaping Alisia wrath and meeting again with Reona, the two exchange conversation on how did the situation became this problematic. Hiro explained that he killed his best friend accidentally while Reona thought that he was so messed up killing NPC at his first adventure quest. In the normal Role Playing game, you can restart the game but since this is an online type of role playing game, the stat of each hero was saved automatically in the game server. Therefore, the state of Hiro killing the NPC, Martin was permanent and he could not change anything about it (unless he bought a new VR machine, which is also impossible for him).

It was safe as long as you pay more :P

Reona explained to him that it was impossible for the game store to refund Hiro’s money due to the company policy. Reona explained that Kiwame was a very old MMORPG; therefore the number of players was already dwindling over the years.  She also mentioned that although most of the maps were empty nowadays, there were still a small number of veteran players inside the game. One of them was a man named Ginji, and similar to Hiro, he also killed his “best friend” ten years ago. As an MMORPG player, I understand the feeling of playing inside a decade old online video game. As you play more and more, the excitement of playing the games diminished over time. Regular player usually played the game for a month or two and the one who love the game might play till one or two years and only a very few fanatic play until the server dead. Still, having a veteran player who played regularly over the period of a decade was a kind of rarity inside an MMORPG.

Tsundere sister ..check

What I think the game lost more people was because it doesn’t let the player enjoy the game. For example, Players need to rub the healing herb in order to cure an injury. It worked exactly like a real world herb and player can’t just tap the herb and recovers them automatically like any other RPG did. Even the NPC merchant will resort in extortion if they think they can oversell their product by raising the prices (It happen because the merchant know Hiro was Martin killer). Even other NPC worked like real world human. They can gossip, spreading rumor, and even trading information about Martin’s murder. The game was just “too real” that there was no boundary on what the players can do inside it (somehow it reminded me of ShenMue, yet even it still plays lots more fun).

Even Sadako trembles in terror

Just when thing started to calm down, the horror started. Alisia who still high on avenging his brother finally find them. Hiro tried to reason with her but she already lost her mind and yes she chased him again (with the knife ;P). I got to admit the scene when she tried to hurt and kill him for real was really impactful and scary to look at haha. Not to mention that Alisia was planning to kill herself after killing her childhood friend so that they can live forever together in afterlife (which was quite a complex emotional thinking for an NPC). Alisia did manage to hurt Hiro’s hand and only because of Sharon help did he managed to escape the game. A day passes by and Hiro was back to his old mundane life. After school, his sister Kaede told him that he should stop playing video game because during his last game, he shout a lot and it disturbed her. Remembering Sharon messages that she would help Hiro again I game, he entered the game world once again only to find out that the wound he got from Alisia’s knife still haven’t recovered yet.

Machine gun punch piupiupiu

Just when he was feeling downright confused with the usage of the Kiwame world’s healing herb, he met a middle-age old man who helped him to apply the healing herb. He was burly; his hair was messy and doesn’t look like he cares about his appearance at all. That man introduced himself as Ginji; the same veteran that Reone mentioned before. Afterward, they went to the local tavern in where Hiro explained about his situation. Unlike Hiro who has a name tag of ‘Best friend killer, the old man tag tittle was inhuman/heartless (that seem like a villain titles lol). One important thing from their discussion was about the person named Kamui. He was the only player who managed to become an elite player in Kiwame. Not only that he was technically capable to deal with Kiwame’s hazardous environments, unlike Ginji or Hiro, he was also fit enough to solve most of the NPCs difficult quests. Just before the end of the episode, suddenly Ginji exposed Hiro identity in front of all NPCs nearby. In short, Ginji was basically a troll who after years of playing alone finally found someone as a victim.

During this 45 years, I managed to become a Kamen Rider too xD

As I saw the episode, I can conclude that this anime want to tell us that overly realistic game doesn’t always means that it was good. It can make us feel amazed with how the realistic the game is. On the other hand, being overly realistic made the game not enjoyable or how I said it “ a pain in the 4ss”. For example, instead of having an instant teleportation to move us to nearby town, a realistic MMORPG means that we had to walk, to ride a horse, or to ride a cart every time we need to get from one point to another. Right now I am looking forward to the next episode..let’s see what we got next week ;)

Dragon house hunting episode 2 finally out yesterday and now is the time to do another review. I knew that an anime like Dragon house hunting may not be known to most anime watchers due to how unique this title is. However, the second episode managed to make me giggle a bit through some of parody crammed into it.

Letty was also a slow brainer for a bonus

The episode started with Letty thanked Dearia the elf for saving him from the hero attack. Dearia introduced himself to Letty and gave him a name card. Interestingly enough, the card not only introduced him as a real estate agent, it also mentioned him as a Demon King. Did that means he was an elf as well as the lord of the demon? Considering his powerful magic, it was possible that he was also an experienced adventurer with abundant knowledge. As I watched this anime from the second episode outing, I found out that this anime was more relaxed in nature so it was a perfect watch if you dislike overly difficult to comprehend plots and just want a few laughs/refreshment.

You only need the ink ribbon actually cause the typewriter belong to the save room lol

First, Dearia teleported Letty in front of a big mansion that looks like an ancient Greek’s architecture complete with a gigantic door. Letty was still as pathetic as the first episode ever lol. Just as he got inside he already activated a trap and got dropped to the bottom dungeon. For your information, the first house that Dearia bring Letty to visit was like a dungeon filled with traps and maze, which according to the elf was difficult enough for ordinary adventurers to traverse. Dearia told him that in order to made him safe from harm, he should live in a place full with dangerous contraptions to repel invaders. He just didn’t know that the red dragon was a bit too careless living in that kind of environment. From the first time entering the place, he already fell three times, got shoot by arrows, activated boulder trap which thrashing him down, and along with his not functional wings, he had to climb the wall if he fell down lol. Letty even got a sore shoulder from too many climbing activities he had to do in that house hahaha.

Remember me and my beautiful voiced onesan xD

After successfully escaped his first “home” trial, Letty told the elf that the house was a bit too dangerous for living. Therefore, he asked for different home and Dearia said that he had a perfect house in mind. The ones that even an experienced adventurer will think twice before entering. The elves sent Letty to an old haunted house. What a hopeless dragon Letty was. Not only to human, he was afraid to both Ghosts and scary thing and having a haunted house as a home seems like a nightmare for him. This was the part where the anime tried to parody some of the horror video games and movies. For example, Dieria gave letty an ink ribbon and a typewriter, which were used to save a game in Resident Evil game, when inside the haunted house, as well as giving him a dust cleaner similar to the one used in Luigi’s mansion. The anime even tried to take the parody further by adding Ju-on’s little ghost inside Letty’s room. Yup, somehow it did manage to make me chuckle a bit. However, it was still not enough to make me burst into laughter. Maybe because it tried so hard to imitate other sources but incapable to create smart jokes inside the dialogues.

At least the ghouls like him

Inside the haunted house, the pair also met with the ghouls-tachi and the previous owner of the house, a wraith named Samuel, who was actually Dearia’s old friend from his adventuring times. One scene did manage to make me laugh; P that is when the Letty wake up and found he was surrounded by Ghouls thus he lost consciousness for the second time immediately. After he woke up, the wraith told him that he and Dearia know each other before and he would like him to buy the property. Unfortunately, staying in a haunted house was not Letty’s dream either so he declined the offer politely. The Wraith told to Dearia that he also had dragon companion before. Dearia did admitting that maybe his old memory was the reason why he had a soft spot for a dragon. Not to mention that although Letty was a complete coward, overly dramatic and hopeless dragon, he was also a kind, timid, and polite dragon.

lol The dragon hate scary thing and buying the house will keep them company xD

I am still thinking that the anime need to find a way to create better jokes. Some of the parody may work for other viewers but not with me. The only part manages to made me laugh was when I saw how fast he got back to sleep just after waking up xD. I think comedy anime like kokkurisan and the first season of Umaru still were more than capable to make a better laugh; even from the first episode. The Red dragon and the Demon elf king still need to work harder to entertain the audiences if comedy was their genre. In short, the main story about an elf helping a dragon finding his dream house is original but the jokes used inside still need better script if this anime want to be remembered as a better comedy anime.

I was looking at the anime spring season list before I found this anime piqued my interest. There are two reasons. One is because I want to start writing again after a four year hiatus. Second, is because I am an RPG addict myself so I would rather had Role playing game anime as my next writing project. By the way, my wait is over and from the first episode, I can say that I am satisfied that it turned out better than what I expected. In my honest opinion, I would not say it was very good but it was quite unique and had potential. Seriously, I just watched other game inspired anime title this season and I feel extremely bored during the very first episode. Having a mediocre story with just a hack and slash stuff was a big NO for me now so thankfully, this anime did not fall to the same category.

It was hinted that Yukii did exercised before but an event turned him into to game addiction

This anime is about a Virtual Reality type MMORPG which put the players consciousness directly inside the game. While the idea is not the first one, as Sword Art Online and Accel World have earlier start, this anime manages to create differences through how the main character reaction to the gaming world that he played. Meet Hiro Yuuki your ordinary student who is about to start the last year of senior high School. Hiro is also a gamer addict who enjoyed playing a video game through a Virtual Reality machine. Just For your information, Yukii was a normal student who just entering a game world he never played before. He was different from Kirito who was experienced the game world even during the beta season. He was a complete beginner in the game and he never had any exercises in real life. So, the world that was a bit too real will definitely put him stressed both physically and mentally

Add another Z sent you to a dreamland xD

In the first part of the anime, it was explained about Virtual Reality MMORPG that take many forms and how it had became popular for recent years. Then the scene moves to our Yuki who had conversation with his teacher regarding to his plan after finishing senior high school. From here on we learned that Yuki's really didn't like how life works for him. For example, he could not enjoy exercising/ sport even though one of his friend keep pestering him to at least exercise more. Then, after school, two local bullies, who seem like other school's student, extorted his money. Even his relation to his sister wasn't great either because he accidentally saw her changing (that your fault for keep staring anyway lol). All of that events only made him considered that a virtual world, in where he could become someone else, was a better place to live on.

On the other side of the town, there was a Goblin Slayer LMAO

When he want to purchased the famous Virtual Reality Games Fantasy FiQue (FINALIZING QUEST) 22, an MMORPG titles that already had a sequels of 22 series (that quite a lot, even Final Fantasy is not at 20 yet xD). Unfortunately, he lack a thousand yen because the local thugs just extorted him before. Feeling down, he left the store until he saw a smaller game shop on his way home. With his last remaining hope, he entered the almost an ancient old game store thinking that he could get a bargain. He entered the shop and met the busty shop keeper, Kisaragi Reona. He asked Reona if the store sell FiQue at 10.000 yen and out of his exception, she told him that his choice was lame. However, after Yukii decided to leave, she grabbed his hand and said that she sold it at 10.000 Yen. After trading, he realized that the game in his hand is not FiQue but an unknown game named Kiwame quest. He tried to get his money back but Reona explained that Kiwame was an RPG that focused more on the realism and it was made for an adult. In short, after tricking Yukii that they sold Fique, she also "forced" him to buy the game.

Stop imitating Titanic LOL

This was the moment when Full Dive RPG started to get interesting. In his room, Yukii entered the game world using the VR headset. Like a usual, there is an introductory speech from a goddess telling him to leave the town and head to a city named Flora. He opened his eyes and saw how he looked exactly like his real world counterpart. He later opened the window and he could even smell and feel the wind. It was very real that when his feet slipped and struck the chair, he could feel pain. An NPC or what we usually called a Non Playable Character, Alicia entered to the room. She had a role as the main protagonist's childhood friend (so whoever came to the game first time will automatically greeted by Alicia).Yukii was amazed that even for an old game, her skin look so flawless like a real human being, and it even took of the character names out. It is as if that the game tried to left all of the game elements out. Another NPC came inside the room. A sunny and stout looking guy named Martin, who was also Alicia's brother and his "best friend" in the game, entered the room and gave him an apple. After remembering the quest given by the goddess, Hiro asked both NPCs on how to get to Flora city as soon as possible.

Right - Right + Low punch

What I didn't expect from the anime was that the NPC suddenly freaked out when he told them about the city direction. They explained that the city's gate to outside was off limit and goblins terrorized the city not to mention the world map. Yukii said that it was common for a new adventurer leaving the first town into the wilderness.Little did he know how different this game world to the other game he played before. Therefore, when Yukii wanted to step outside suddenly Martin hold bumped him from behind. Martin said that he was forbidden to leave the town and he would use violence to stop him. Yuki, who thought that Martin fighting him was an event point thought that he was the first obstacle he had to defeat. How shock he was that Martin struck him really hard that he got blood in his face; not to mention that he can truly feel the pain. Angered with how the game treated him as if he was in his real world, Yukii bumped him using his shoulder very hard. It was the shocking event that Martin, an NPC, was laying dead due to using a knife to eat an apple when Yukii suddenly bumped him.

Congrats on your first achievement Yuki ;P

The shocked Alisia told him that he just do something unforgivable thus leading to her chasing Yuki all  around the town. After Yuki finally escaped from Alisia's Wrath, a fairy came to him. The fairy was actually the shopkeeper Reona's avatar. She said that the Kiwame company gave her a fairy skin so that she could become invisible for the NPCs and the monsters; allowing her to work as a support for the main character. The anime was closed with Reona finding out that Yuki first achievement in game was a none other than a Best Friend Killer. It was shocking because Yukii took out the path that was not supposed to happen and it was a totally frantic opening quest for any character in MMORPG. However, knowing that the game had extreme realism, it was not possible too see the outcome from the player's decision. Can Yukii survived the ordeal and finished the game?

The virtual world that is a bit too realistic. Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara first stage impression ;P

Another week passed after the first episode of Yukimura Sawa’s quest for vengeance. I was watching the episode hoping for further explanations about some questions that I have last week and the second episode really answered a lot of questions xD. The episode starts with the first opening theme of the anime and I really do love the animation. It was combining the gritty and dark animation and at some point it manages to redraw the opening animation drawing like an ink brushes arts (which usually happen when Yukimura undergoes her transformation). It was stylish for an opening theme and combined with the cool animations made me like it more. The second episode also gave a lot of spoiler regarding to the heroines past and some of the unanswered questions. So if you want to watch the episode without getting heavily spoiled, you can stop reading now.

Cool animation and sketchy arts= great opening

The anime start with the founding of assassination victims all around the town and they are important figures for the government. The scene moves to the discussion between the NUE leader; Kuzuhara with Tsukishiro regarding to the killing. They were examining about the possibility of a traitor inside NUE because most of the target hold specific information that may shake the regime foundation.

Don't mind my lifeless like eyes..I haven't sleep for 3 days straight xD

The next part moves to our heroine Yukimura; who has just recovering from her last battle, reminisced about her past. Until now she still remembered very much about that person who stole everything from her. Her parents, even the villagers where she lived all were killed by the same person, Janome.  Not only that he razed and burned the entire villages, he also stole the power that the villagers had; the blue blood. That was the same power that made Yukimura is capable to transform into her battle formed maiden. To make it worse, Janome used that power to create changelings. That is an interesting revelation that we got there. The very monsters that she slayed before was imbued with the same power as her.

Because burning red eyes is just too ordinary

When she was burying her families and the villagers, Kuzuhara san (darn he didn’t even age for a second if you watch his current appearances) found her. Then, He told her if she wanted revenge for her family members, he could teach her about fighting.  On that day, Yukimura was first introduced to NUE, Which is an organization of assassin made by the ruler of the new era; Yoshinobu Tokugawa. Days in and days out, she trained swordsmanship under Kuzuhara’s tutelage until she finally mastered the power of the blue blood. With her swordsmanship skills along with the power of her blue blood, she started killing more and more people and became NUE executioner.

The face palate when u realize that you already lost your neck

Another revelation came up now. The girl that lived with her actually is one of daughters of NUE targets. We learnt from the last episode that the Yoshinobu Tokugawa himself isn’t a saint. He ruled with an Iron fist and would send an assassin for those that tried to cross him. It was complex that after killing her parents, Yukimura saw herself in the fainted young lady. She technically created another orphan and turned into the very same person that she hated.. Janome.  It was not very original in my books but it was nice; really nice plot. Not only that the anime managed to answer a lot of questions and cram it into a single episode, it also manages to tell me why Yukimura doesn’t seem like enjoying her companionship and why did she try to kill her when she fainted in the last episode.

This is the beauty of character development.. u see yourself turned into a monster

The second part of the anime was about how Hanakaze and Yukimura got a new order to get a woman known as “the treasurer” to safety. She had a very good memory that she knew everything about the dirty work of the government and her presence is both a blessing and a curse for the ruling party. After they got cornered by assassins, Yukimura took the girl with her while Hanakaze repelled the attackers. During the escape, Yukimura interrogated the lady about whether she knew about the village of Karasumori because Yuki knew someone tried to hide the fact of the village destructions. The lady, whose son is in government's custody, said that his son’s safety was worth more than her own life so she asked whether Yuki want to accompany her to the boat; promising to tell her everything she needs to know. Yukimura accepted her offer when suddenly they were attacked by both the assassins and one changeling. After meeting again with Hanakaze, the anime went full action mode with both Yuki and Hana killed all attackers. It was a shocking scene that after everything seems over; Hanakaze stabbed the treasurer and told her that NUE already killed her son. This enraged Yukimura because the lady  holds the information regarding her past and just when they were about to fight, the episode comes to an end.

There is no real friends or family in this anime..which is interesting..

It was a great episode to begin with many plot revelation. A tiny bit of the information regarding to dragon vein materials (which earlier mentioned as a natural resources) also covered. In addition, there was a scene when Tsukishiro gave the little girl poisoning pills so the she could feed her poison in order to get revenge for her parents. It was enough to make me more interested to continue watching the anime. As for Yukimura.. From what I see, it seems like many wanted her dead; even Kuzuhara and Tsukishiro was disappointed that she was not dead from her last changeling encounter. Did her presence even give more danger for other human beings?  Will the little girl use the pill to get her revenge? It’s as if Yukimura herself was already a dead seeker to begin with. But before that moment came, she would do her best to stay alive and get her revenge first.

I don't read many manga or light novels nowadays so when I review or give my impression of an anime adaptation title. I didn't expect any outcomes from that work. It worked well at some point that I didn't get spoiled too early or knows what event I will see later or at least how it will be animated. Somehow, it surprised me on how weird a TV series ended up due to no expectations on what I am about to see xD one the last anime I watch is Dragon goes house hunting orドラゴン、家を買う(Doragon, ie o kau). The setting is in an isekai world where heroes and monsters reside in magical land like Role playing games. Yet, the focus in this anime is not the heroes per usual, but it is one of the magical creatures, a Dragon.

How about a dragon with a slime spirit inside? xD

Now let's imagine the mystical being called dragons. Dragons are lizard-like creatures with enormous bodies and a gigantic wing. Despite its hulking mass, a dragon can fly as easily as a fowl and the earth trembles when they land. As an addition, they can breathe fire through their mouth and have gigantic razor claws to scrap their enemies. Ok the reason why I explained the might of a dragon a lot is because I need you to forget everything what I just said about a dragon LMAO

Did he play some game& watch collecting eggs or sumthin xD

Our leading hero is a red Dragons named Letty and what peculiar about him is that he was a timid and cowardly dragon and worst off all, he had no dragon's abilities except for wagging his tail and running away xD. To rub salt into his wound, his overall stats are way lower than his peers and his base luck is even minuses by 7 although he is on the equal level with the other dragons.

He doesn't fight back. Even killing mouses is  harder lol

This anime is..well ..different from the rest. The focus point is that Letty was thrown out from his family's den because he fell asleep while doing an egg guards duty. A thief stole the egg and letty was just too afraid to retrieve it back. Well, if you can stand a main character who is a coward, have no enthusiasm, and don't have a fighting spirit, at least you can stand seeing Letty's antics. After all his resolve is only finding a nest where he can live peacefully free from dangers

Funny or not, some words just need a better execution

The first episode gives the character introduction with the two main characters who are Letty (already introduced) and a bishonen elf named Dearia, who worked like a real estate agent. He provides shelter for weaker monsters like slimes. With the simple quest of a dragon finding nest, the anime slowly introduce some of the land inhabitants like harpies, goblins, and dwarves. The funny stuff that this anime trying to sell is that Letty's incompetence for being a dragon only attracting more and more bullies. Honestly, I am quite annoyed with his weak character as if he was supposed to born slime but stuck inside a dragon body. He got captured easily by dwarves too because he politely asked them If they could build him a home. The dude didn't even know that his kin is a bigger threat than a local earthquake LMAO.

You don't even need a whole party to hurt letty lol

Honestly, I'm not laughing too much on the first episode since I have seen better comedies in the other anime. Yet, in terms of weirdness (originality) it definitely is a spot on. It's so weird that I can at least have more ideas to write than more action oriented anime. Also this anime incorporates retro role playing game elements inside. So, if you are a Role playing fanatic, you can appreciate the design of two dimensional sprites similar to Role playing in it. Still i don't know if the comedy will be able to lift this anime on the later episodes with the first episode comedic being only subpar in my opinion

Tremble to the MIGHT OF THE RED DRAGON. Dragon, Ie wo kau episode 1 impression.
