A second wave incoming; Gundam in reconguista episode 7 impression
Tad predictable was the
impression I got from watching Gundam in Reconguista. From the
appearance of the Mask, his real identity, and the dead of Dellelsen.
And I have to admit the pace of the series started to bore me. Just
like usual, the Capital Guard sent their army to avenge their fallen
comrades (again). This time around the mask guy (luin) led the cadets
who originally also came from Kuntala. He explained to us that
Kuntala clan was considered as a clan that came from the lowest
society in the past. Therefore, he encouraged his fellow Kuntalas to
seize the opportunity to improved their position by taking down the
Amerians pirates.
with all those mobile suits....that's make sense |
The scene moved to the
colony in which Director Wilmit (Belri's mother) inspected the
surrounding area. As she checked them, she could not conceal his
disgust that the capital army used the colony as if it was their
front line base. This time around however, she held back to start a
fight and focusing more about the ship that took her son.
camouflage in balloon |
Back to the Megafauna,
the pirate inflated a giant balloon that look exactly like a Megafauna and hoped that they could create a diversion. In addition, they also received yet another G-self upgrade parts and armaments.
Yet, this episode had not reveal how the new upgrade looks like. It
was mentioned that there was a space upgrade unit for the G-self.
Speaking of upgrade, it seemed that the color of the G-self unit
change according to the unit upgrade that it equipped with.
Klim the manipulator |
Klim Nick, who noticed
Raraiya before, suddenly asked her to pilot the G-self. Knowing very
well that the amnesiac girl loved his pretty eyes, he manipulated her
to take the unit seat and asked her to activate it. I don't know very
well about his main intention. However, he might wanted to check
whether Raraiya could work as Belri's replacement if he was not
available. Or maybe, he intended to take special notice on how she
worked the unit so that he could pilot it later.
Just say that you are hungry |
In the other place,
Director willmit went to a hangar to check a space glider.
Unfortunately to her, she accidentally activated the machine with her
locked inside it. The glider thrown out of the colony and the worst
part was that it had no space suits inside so the Director life was
at stake since if the glider happened to fall into the earth
atmosphere, it might get burn while entering the earth atmosphere not
to mention that it was possible that Director Willmit had no
experience to operate the glider.
The mobile suit look weird.. but they are original at least |
When the Mask team
attacked the Megafauna, Belri was dumbfounded as someone (Raraiya)
already deployed using the G-self unit. In order to get the unit
back, he entered a Zaku like mobile suit named Jahanam and deployed.
Just as the Mask shot down the G-self, which made it drown to the
sea, Belri's Jahanam took it hand and guided it to a nearby island
and in the aftermath, he replaced Raraiya again as the unit's pilot.
Just as the Mask and his subordinates started to win the favour, a
reinforcement in form of a green Mobile Armor came and started
blasting at the Capital Armies.
who are thou??? |
I am still clueless about
the series direction and who was fighting who in the series. However,
I assumed that in few episodes later, the questions will be answered.
What was the fate of Belri's mother? Will they survive the attack?
Lets see the next episode to find out.
