It's close to the end of the first season and Lady Inglis will encounter one of her best adversaries in this episode. As a continuation to the last episode, the ship that entered the country's territory belong to the Steelblood front. The menacing Ivel shows his intention right away that he has no interest to replace the Hieral Menace but knows very well that the Steelblood will more than likely trying to assassinate him. His arrival to that place is actually to lure out the opposition and tries to catch/ kill the Steelblood members. What he doesn't know is that acknowledging his intention pretty much allows Inglis to ask for the king's permission to deal with the ambassador as he is charged with treason for making false ceremony and humiliating the king on the process. The king tries to hold back by asking her to apprehend Ivel. Maybe part of it, the king still not sure about Inglis being able to defeat the Arclord. Yet, soon he will witness directly that the pretty maid is as good as she says .
The ambassador knows that Inglis has already building a tremendous aura with her and she is brimming with confidence, making it not possible to win against her through honest mean. Therefore, he lays an invisible magical sphere around his body hoping that Inglis will get inside the sphere and lose her body parts due to the trap's magic. Fortunately, Inglis instantly realizes his trap right away so instead of charging in, she taunts him to charge his power to a specific area. She even provoke him along saying that he may had a better winning chance; while saying that she knows all along about his devious plan. Well, Evel lose it all when he takes on Inglis' proposal and charging his enhanced mana to his arms. The last thing we know is Inglis deflects his arm using a heavily charged kick and give another roundhouse kick; sending that evil little man to the skyπ€£ππ€£. I knows its another anticlimactic battle again and I'm not too surprised with the outcome lol.
Inglis asks Rani to enter the Steelblood's ship. While she reluctantly agreed to join Inglis due to sheer exhaustion after fixing the King 's arm, Inglis takes Rani in her arm (technically against her willπ€£). She jumps very high (bringing Rani with her) and moves from one air gear to another until they reach the main battleship; in where the Masked man and Sistia has been waiting for the assassination plan. In the mean times, the other students of knight academia are still in their homeground; waiting for the operation. Once more, they try to feed on Mana to lady Ripple to summon another beasts. For one reason, I don't know why they tries to feed mana so much to Ripple and what they want to gain from the beasts summoning because the purpose is a bit unclear for me. A bit of comedy is mixed on this part with Yua tries to leave early because the participation is deemed voluntary and the principle instantly tries to grab her from leaving π€£. Another character development can be seen further when Silva bows his head; asking Yua to help them. While he does bicker a lot with the girl, he acknowledges her raw power and he doesn't hesitate to lower his head to help lady Ripple; the one who save him.
After waiting for some time, finally Inglis has the chance she is waiting for too long. A chance encounter with a strong individual who will bring excitement to her. It's obvious that the closest being on par to her is the leader of the SteelBlood Front; the misterious masked man. Above the Steelblood battle field, Inglis duke it out one on one against the said man and since it's close to the end of the season, the anime kinda prolong the battle than usual; making sure that more minutes and frames devoted to the action sequence. The fight turns better when they exchange blows. It turns out that the man had better mastery in Aether because he can summon a pure condensed Aether sword. Not only it's bigger than Inglis ice sword, it also has higher reach and stronger in term or raw power. Inglis is off course smarter than her looks as she can still block the heavy light aether sword with her smaller ice "pick"π and sacrifice it to push the man backward. Off course that push is not enough to put adequate damage to the man because he is not as weak as the other Inglis' previous opponents. However, their battle has to stop abruptly when Ivel suddenly comes crashing to the scene; a heavy smirk is shown in his face as if he is still capable to overturn the situation.
What so funny about this is Ivel still full of confidence after getting one shooted by Inglis and he still plans to exterminate both side; either from the SteelBlood faction to the land of down kingdom (including the guards who turn their weapons to him). The masked man feels glad that he doesn't need to search for their target and asks Sistia for assistance. For the first time, we witness her turns into a spear; the very idea of Hieral menace is a weapon that can turns into a being. Nevertheless, it's very ironic that the first Hieral who turns into a weapon is a rogue one, who helps a misterious man fight against their very own creators; the highlanders.
Back to the academia's ground, Leone is already at her limit holding the dimensional space that she makes. Fortunately, just after losing stamina and the space collapse , her brother Leon suddenly comes and helps them from the surrounding magicite beasts. It's seems that the masked man himself asks Leon directly to help them. I don't know what is his intention but for now, they (along with Leon) tries to redo giving mana to Ripple. The last part is interesting, the last summoning doesn't give away smaller beasts but a Prismer; a gigantic magicite beast which is like the one frozen in the cathedral. Inglis who sees the Prismer from above the ship just could not hide her pure excitement from seeing the Prismer turns into a reality (πeven if she is already in front of both Ivel and the masked man). We are going to see a big showdown very soonπ²π²π²..Hold tight bros it's a jet coaster rideπ
