Synopsis
In one of the houses in Geo, Serafina and Sandra talked about the Jumi's core they had been collecting so far. Three chests full of beautiful stone were laid in front of them and there were plenty more locked chests nearby. Serafina lumped down with teary eyes as she reminded of how she personally took her friend's; Esmeralda's, core. Yet Sandra convinced her that soon everything would be okay and she asked her to help once more collecting few more Jumi's core. Then, They prepared to meet the lord of Jewel

Both Shiloh and Ruri were running in Leires tower wanting to meet Shinju/Pearl as soon as possible. As the stamina diminished, Shinju asked Ruri to take a break for a few moment. After finding a correct spot to rest, they talked about Serafina and why Shiloh still opted to trust her. Shiloh asked if she might know the truth about lady Pearl and decided to run away and Ruri admitted that he might be ignoring the fact about Shinju being lady Black Pearl even though he had been her partner for quite some time.Ruri decided to ask Pearl about the truth while they agreed to search for Serafina later.

Meanwhile, Sandra and Serafina met the lord of Jewel who was actually the hunchback mermanoid like creature that Ruri and Shiloh met at the Mekiv cafe before. Sandra asked if giving him would save Hotaru Hime and he guaranteed them that it would be possible. He devoured the Jumi's cores presented to him by Sandra one by one while Serafina just didn't want to see as he ate Esmeralda's core for the first bite. After finishing the plate, the lord of Jewel's body started glowing brightly but at the end; the shine transpired. He regretted to tell them that those amount of cores were lacking a bit. Sandra protested that he ensured one thousand cores was enough to create the healing tear stone. Lord of Jewel persisted that he initially didn't want to use too much cores if possible; therefore, he said a thousand gems was enough. In addition, he told them that after he ate those stones, he need to eat other stones as soon as possible or their work collecting stones would be for nothing.

When they walked away from lord of Jewel's place, Serafina asked if that person really had the power to heal the tear stone. Sandra replied that she had witnessed his appearance during the great war time between Jumi and the invading battalion of monsters before. She told Serafina a story from her past. As Sandra woke up after a very tiring battle, she saw all of her friends were no longer Jumi's knights. They remained as cracked jewels scattered in the battlefield. As she collected all of her Jumi's friend cores and walked away from the battlefield, she felt anguished; for losing all of her friends. She just hoped for Hotaru Hime and the rest of Hime already running away from city of jewel. Due to the despair and injuries that she got, she fell in the ground, the stones that she collected told her to not give up then by a miracle all of the stones formed a creature that we knew today as the lord of Jewel (that hunchback mermanoid like creature).

Back to Shiloh and Ruri, they had been fighting against one of the Leires tower guardians. Ruri was injured yet he managed to solo the guardian while Shiloh kept cheering on him. Inside the room that was protected by the guardian, Lady BlackPearl talked with Shinju Hime (who already became a different entity with Lady Pearl) and asked her to sit in the round table and be the next gyokuseki Hime. Ruri and Shiloh entered the room and demanded Shinju-Hime back. Lady Pearl told them that if they wanted her, they should be able to defeat her first. She asked Ruri and Shiloh to go down the stairs because she didn't want to fight in that sacred room.

Shiloh was hesitated fighting lady Pearl as she was strong enough to make even Sandra run away. Yet, Ruri ensured him that they could join force and won. Just as he talked, Lady Pearl remarked that even if they joined force, they would never win. Lady Pearl promised that she would leave Shinju-hime if they could defeat her. Ruri started the fight and he asked why did lady Pearl helped him before during Sandra's assault. Lady Pearl only said coldly that she just want to save a fellow Jumi. Not long after lady Pearl took him down and pressed him in the ground. She also noticed that the young Jumi's core had a crack on it. Shiloh tried to help Ruri and try to attack her yet using only a single blow, lady Pearl countered and threw him to the ground making his left hand injured.

Lady Pearl asked why did he bother to help Ruri and put himself in a great danger knowing that he could never win against her. Shiloh replied that he didn't need a reason to help his precious friends. As Shiloh tried another attack, lady Pearl easily dodged it and hold his hand with ease. She asked once more for Shiloh to give up Shinju Hime but he strongly against it. It angered lady Pearl and she said that she would make him unable to swing sword any longer. Out of sudden, Shiloh punched Lady Pearl stomach using the hand that was supposed to be injured. Shiloh faked an injury in his left hand although in reality, it was just a scratch. As much as she was angry with Shiloh's trick, she was impressed with his will to try saving both of Ruri and Shinju-hime. She agreed to stay away from Shinju-hime for a while and saying to Ruri that he had a good friend.

Before leaving, Lady Pearl warned Shiloh that the saying that whoever cry for Jumi would turn everything into a stone was real. Therefore, she asked him to stay away from Jumi. As Shinju-hime entered the room, Ruri instantly grabbed her hand and lead her away to the entrance. Ruri said to Shiloh to stay away from them from now on and he thanked him for everything that he have done for them. Shiloh went back to his house and greeted by the two magicians. To his surprise, Serafina also waited in his house as if nothing happened. She asked him about where Esmeralda had been gone as the people in the academy didn't know about her whereabout. After explaining what had happened for those few days, Serafina explained that she didn't take Esmeralda's core and she was in the Jewel store during that time asking for another Jumi's core. As they talked privately, Serafina asked if he knew the place where Ruri and Shinju might be heading next. Shiloh then told her that it was possible for them to head to Geo again to see the statue of Lady Diana who was located below's merchant Christy's palace
Review
It was getting closer to the end of the anime and soon we might see the conclusion of teardrop crystal. The episode finally answered some questions about Serafina's action from the two previous episodes. It seemed that Serafina was really responsible for Esmeralda's demise. Yet, she believed that if they managed to gather enough Jumi's core, the power of the tear healing crystal would save every Jumi that had been vanquished. The Lord of Jewel guaranteed that even if they sacrificed many Jumis, if they could create another healing tear stone, they could always save everyone again. One big reveal in this episode was about Sandra's identity. Sandra was actually a Jumi and she was a holder of the Alexandrite crystal. The very person that hunted Jumi was none other of a Jumi who was trying to save a person important to him; Hotaru-hime..But in doing so she had to sacrifice so many Jumis while technically she had pure intention as she didn't hunt Jumi core for money and personal gain.

It was endearing that at the end of the day, Ruri knew that if Shiloh's company might give a bad luck to him. The reason of him asking Shiloh to stay away was actually to protect him from their curse. other from that tender moment, I thought that the battle once again could not do justice for a video game adaptation as the anime could only display a small amount of action in their fight against Black Pearl. It seemed too simple and ended very quickly. In regard to Serafina, it obvious that she lied to Shiloh and she wanted to know the Jumi's location so she could snatch their Jumi's core later. It made Shiloh as the only main character on this anime and made Serafina seemed more like antagonist with good intentions role. Let's see if she will succeed or not in the next episode.
